Inventions and Creations
Twenty years ago Jim Aamodt was hosing down produce in a grocery store when the thought occurred to him there might be a better way. Taking the thought a step forward Jim invented and patented the produce misters you see in about every grocery store most everywhere today.
Years later while living on a ranch in Central Oregon with multiple wildfires in the area Jim’s nephew, Andrew Aamodt, thought it would be a good idea to mist the outside of the house for protection. Again, Jim has taken the thought a step
forward and invented Firebreak Spray Systems.
Seeing the value of homes being protected multiple insurance companies have become involved by providing referrals to Firebreak for homes they feel needing protection from wildfires. Because wildfires have become a way of life and due to the migration and construction of homes and communities into the wildland urban interface many homes are lost yearly.
As a result Firebreak is actively installing wildfire protection systems mostly throughout the western part of the United States.
