HOOD RIVER, ORE. - Firebreak Spray SystemsTM, a leader in wildfire risk management, announces that it has added "Firebreak On-DemandTM" to its arsenal of wildfire mitigation products and services. Firebreak Spray Systems employs a proactive approach to mitigating wildfire losses - using consultation, retardant pretreatment, notification and incident response - to protect residential and commercial property before wildfire strikes.

With Firebreak On-Demand, potential wildfire victims now have the unique opportunity to mitigate or prevent wildfire damage without the commitment of a long-term contract. Insurance professionals and commercial risk managers can schedule Firebreak On-Demand for one or more days, with as little as 24 hours notice. These clients previously accessed the same services through season-long arrangements only.

As with all existing services and products, Firebreak Spray Systems utilizes Phos-Chek® long-term fire retardant, the same non-toxic and environmentally safe product used by the National Forest Service. The clear, fertilizer-based liquid application is sprayed on property and structures to protect them from threatening wildfire. Unlike gel or foam suppressants that are effective only if applied during an active wildfire, Phos-Chek long-term fire retardant can be applied days, weeks or months ahead of time, and stays effective as long as it remains in place. Phos-Chek is used in advanced wildfire loss prevention worldwide.

"We are very excited to add the On-Demand program to our products and services because potential clients not presently served by Firebreak Spray Systems now have the chance to protect what is often millions of dollars of property," says Andrew Aamodt, Managing Partner of Firebreak Spray Systems.
"Firebreak On-Demand is a much-needed service for protecting property in the event of a wildfire," says Rick Eldridge, Intuitive Insurance Corp.'s President and CEO. "The peace of mind for property owners and insurers cannot be measured. The damage during any one wildfire can easily spiral into the tens of millions of dollars - Firebreak On-Demand pays for itself many times over with the first property saved."

For nearly a decade, Firebreak Spray Systems has protected homes, properties and entire communities to become a leader in wildfire risk management. Firebreak Spray Systems' products and services have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, NY Times, and USA Today, and on "CNBC" and "Good Morning America." Firebreak Spray Systems is the only company in the world to offer this innovative, specialized protection with a long-term fire retardant.
"Firebreak Spray Systems prides itself on advanced protective measures," adds Aamodt, "as we are a community outreach and educational-focused company. On-Demand can help mitigate or even prevent the havoc and devastation wildfire can cause whenever a client needs it - for one day or for an entire season."
