Home and Property Wildfire System Services

> Installations occur after an inquiry has been made and a site visit made to the property. This is followed up with a recommendation from us to the home or property owner for each particular project. Each project is site specific for various reasons including size of property and/or home to be protected, types of landscape and natural vegetation, and just how much protection an owner wants.

> The actual installation is when the system is located on the property. We try to be as ascetically pleasing to the owner as possible. From the system piping is run to wherever the guns that spray the actual Phos-Chek retardant are located. Once the system is installed the system is filled with water and shot off to check for proper protection coverage and for any leaks. When the test is completed then the system is filled with the Phos-Chek retardant and armed for use.

> Yearly services include inspections and maintenance checks for all of our installed systems. The systems are checked for leaks in the lines, nitrogen tanks, air pressure levels, along with making sure all spray heads operate correctly. This is done in order to make sure all systems are fully operational and prepared for wildfire season. During this time Firebreak can also expand the size of system if remodeling has occurred to the property and/or additional protection is wanted or needed.

> If a system is discharged for one reason or another, Firebreak will schedule the system to be refilled with Phos-Chek retardant and for the nitrogen tanks to be recharged. As you know, nitrogen is what powers the systems because the Firebreak Spray Systems do not require running water or electricity to operate.

> Firebreak also has an independent Rapid ReponseTruck that is available in certain areas for consultations, pre-treatments and emergency response to wildfire situations.

> Consultations consist of a property site visit with recommendations for making the property more fire ready with the possibility of a pre-treatment with Phos-Chek retardant. A pre-treatment consists of spraying fire danger areas being sprayed with long lasting retardant. This is usually outside of the irrigated and landscaped area(s). Long lasting refers to the ability for the retardant to be effective until it is either washed off or rained on. Emergency response situations can be where a client has signed up with Firebreak for these services in certain areas.
